Three real projects. The prompt and the result, side by side — and what was there before, which usually nobody sees.

A few grainy photos,
and a cinema screen

It started as a conversation between friends. I have a few photographs of the car, none of them high resolution, and I can’t take any more: it’s a surprise for the company’s anniversary. Can we do something anyway?

The hard part wasn’t the video: it was where it was going to end up. A cinema screen magnifies everything, and a flaw nobody notices on a phone is watched there by hundreds of people at once. We were starting from images that screen would not have forgiven.

The car was set back in motion from those photographs, and brought up to the quality a projection demands. There was no going back for better ones: we worked with those, and that was that.

That’s how the evening opened, in a cinema in Vicenza. The CEO knew nothing about it.

One photo,
and it was damaged

The starting point was a single image, old and damaged. Not a photo shoot to retouch: one shot, with whatever had survived in it.

Around that little, a whole scene grew, one that holds up when you look closely. Then came the request to change the colour of the vest, and the image held that too: this is where you see the difference between a retouch and a scene that genuinely exists.

Drag the handle: the original on the left, the reconstruction on the right.

03 · AMALUR · concept

AMALUR,
a brand that doesn’t exist

A skincare line never produced, and the campaign that treats it as if it were already on the shelves. The name comes from Amalur, Mother Earth in Basque mythology: the goddess from whom life is born, and who regenerates without waste.

Five products with their formulas, the glass and aluminium packaging, the brand’s emerald green, the claims in three languages, the audience it speaks to, the competitors’ campaigns to beat. A precise position, which is also the hardest part: pro-age, not anti-age — no miracle promises, skin treated as an ecosystem that changes.

Not one bottle of that brand exists. Every photograph, every package, every scene of the campaign was generated: it’s the way to see whether an idea works before spending on production, not after.

This photo shoot never took place. There is no branch, there is no light of that afternoon, there is no bottle. There is no brand.

The campaign in motion

All sixty-four pages of the campaign open from the card on the right. They are deliberately low resolution: to see it in full, in high quality, write to me.
